John 11: 1-45

HOW JESUS CARES FOR YOU IN THE FACE OF DEATH

I. THE CONCERN OF JESUS FOR YOUR ___________________

“The two sisters sent a message to Jesus telling him, ‘Lord the one you love is very sick.”                                                                                    vs 3 (NLT)

“Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.”               vs 5 (NIV)

Your loyalty is tested:

1. When God doesn’t act ____________________________ you want him to act.

“Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days.”               vs 6 (NIV)

“The Lord is a fair God, and everyone who waits for his help will be happy.”          Isaiah 30:18 (NCV)

II. THE COMPASSION OF JESUS IN YOUR __________________

Jesus demonstrates his compassion:
